These courses offer fly tyers with basic experience the opportunity to expand their skills while filling their boxes with effective seasonal patterns.
From spring dry flies and trout streamers to topwater bass flies and bonefish snacks for your next Caribbean trip, these patterns will take your fly tying journey to the next level. We provide all necessary materials. Prior tying experience is required.
We request you bring your own tools!
What’s needed:
1) A tying vise
2) Fly tying scissors
3) A fly-tying bobbin
4) Dubbing loop spinner
5) A half-hitch tool
6) A spool of black tying thread (8/0 Veevus)
7) Head Cement
8) Optional but recommended: A fine-tip bottle for dispensing the head cement
