Wes is living proof that you can take the guide out of Alaska but you can’t take Alaska out of the guide. Wes has spent two seasons in Alaska guiding the Yentna drainage (do you see a shop hiring pattern forming here)?.
During the offseason, Wes guides our beloved Chattahoochee tailwater with our great friends at River Through Atlanta. He can definitely talk tailwater fishing and Sweetwater Brewing in the same sentence with equal passion.
Wes will admit he has a few nymphs somewhere in his fly box but his true knack is for big streamers and big fish. He’ll help you dissect the Hooch and get you in the gear that matches the hatch.
