Policies
Payment and Cancellation
With the exception of gratuities and your meals in Manaus, this one price will cover almost everything once you arrive in Brazil.
A 50% non-refundable deposit will hold your place. Trip cancellation insurance is HIGHLY recommended.
Please consider GLOBAL RESCUE EVACUATION coverage. Note, this is NOT trip cancelation insurance. Talk to us if you have questions.
TRIP CANCELATION INSURANCE is highly recommended. This can be purchased through our travel experts Amanda and Alisa (adawe@travelxperts.com and Alisa at alisag@travelxperts.com).
What's Not Included:
A Brazilian Tourist Visa will be required starting in April 2025.
Your TRANSPORTATION to Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. We have an exceptional team of travel experts who can assist you with flights, hotels, and trip cancellation insurance (recommended). You can contact Amanda directly at adawe@travelxperts.com and Alisa at alisag@travelxperts.com
HOTEL STAY extra nights. We will pay for Friday and Saturday on your arrival and Sunday on your departure. Additional hotel nights are your responsibility.
MEALS and BAR TABS in Manaus, we can arrange transportation and interpreters for your meals in Manaus for a small fee.
Note on ALCOHOL on the river: We will provide a basic bar, domestic beer, and Chilean wine. You can easily bring your favorite alcohol by purchasing it in the Duty-Free shops in the Panama airport, and they will transport it to Manaus for you.
GRATUITIES are recommended at 10% of the package price for the Guides and Crew on the mothership. These tips are given out by the trip Host during the Crew appreciation dinner. A $20 tip to each of our Manaus team (driver and airport host) is also appropriate. NOTE Please remember that tips must be in Brazilian R$
EXCURSIONS are available that may include additional days in Manaus.
GEAR (rods, reels, flies, lures) is not provided in the package price. If you book with us, we will provide you with a complete list of needed equipment.
